Dear cycling family,
In a nutshell:
-The Freedom Ride Jacket is getting better every day.
-The T-Shirt is soon to be another great product.
-We’re close to invent the WATERPLOOF pocket.
-Bogotá is still a little bit insecure, we got robbed.
-We started an awesome project to accompany people to their workplace riding a bike!

Ride in Peace Project - The Power to Generate Conciousnes

Dear Cycling Family,
We are proud to announce you the Ride in Peace Pilot Project. We believe that urban cycling will change the world. And we are working for this to happen faster.
Not only we make awesome products. We also take actions for what we believe.
So a couple of days ago, I posted a video on our Facebook fan page. We asked who was interested to get a free guided bicycle ride to work.
And 96 persons subscribed in just a couple of days. It's way more than we can handle!
So we are looking for a way to finance it at scale right now. Creating a T-Shirt with a QR code to tell this story could be one way.
One of those person is Catalina. She's actually a friend of mine that lives right next door. She's also Daniela (COO) roommate.
She lives only 4 km away from her job but never had the chance to ride bicycle over there. And showing her the way once, was like breaking the ice.
"Wow, I did not realize it was actually so close" said Catalina.
And we actually made made a video about it!

Good and Bad News from Production

Dear Cycling Family,
For once we’re not reaaally excited.
We’re just like 80% excited and 20% sad.
Indeed, if we have good news as always,
we also have a bad news as it sometimes happens.
Our supplier screwed the fabrication of the fabrics (superheating the waterproof layer) making us loose precious weeks that will delay the whole project.

Dear cycling family,
We were working on the production actualization, when we received the first Urban Cycling T-Shirt prototype.
And it was so good, that we had to change our plans. A Cycling T-Shirt, is NOT a T-Shirt with only a bike printed on it anymore =D

Kickstarter transferred us the money and other fresh news.

Dear Cycling Family,
We hope you are doing well and riding a lot.
In Bogotá we do, and we also have some fresh news:
▼▲ Kickstarter just transferred us the money yesterday. We will start buying the first supplies right away.
▼▲ 85% of you already answered the survey. Thanks a lot, it helps us to estimate how many meters of fabric we need for each color.
▼▲ We already asked a factory to make a jacket of each size but we’re still waiting for the smaller and bigger sizes (XXS, XL, XXL) to arrive. Once they do, we will be able to better help the ones who are still unsure.
▼▲ A lot of you supported us with an additional sweater, t-shirt or jersey. That’s nothing new, but we are awesome.
▼▲ We had some unused footage left from the Kickstarter video. Hope you enjoy it.
See you soon for an actualization featuring Daniela and the first news concerning the production. And hopefully the ultimate sizing help as a bonus.
